Amanda Martinez

Meet Amanda

How did you get interested in real estate?

I have been involved in some facet of real estate for 15 years.  I have worked with a custom home builder, a production builder, and in commercial design specializing in healthcare and education.  I have been blessed to have the opportunity to work in many departments from sales, estimating, design, and marketing.  Becoming a realtor was a natural progression for my career.

What is your favorite part of working in real estate?

I enjoy building relationships with people.  Purchasing a home is a very stressful process. I enjoy guiding clients through this process and ease their stress if possible.  It is very rewarding to be apart of a major milestone in their lives.

What do you like to do outside of real estate?

I have 3 young children who keep me very busy.  Most days are filled with distance learning, potty training, being a short order chef, and a referee.  Before Covid, we spent a lot of time going out to restaurants, weekends at the beach, hanging out at the aquarium and the zoo, and Fresno State football games.

Who is your hero and why?
My grandfather is my hero.  He taught me how to be more positive and to look for the good in people.  He never spoke poorly of anyone and had a very positive outlook on life.  The glass was always 1/2 full which is why I think he lived so long.  He encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone and to work hard in order to be successful in life.

What is the best part of living in the Central Valley?

I was born and raised in the Central Valley and have always felt it was a great place to raise a family.  You get the small town feel and community pride that doesn't exist in larger cities.  Also there are many things to do around town and just a few hours away from many other destinations such as the beach, mountains, and more. Also a lot of our family lives in town and you can't beat free babysitting.
